Well here it is the end of '08 and so much to be thankful for and to look forward to in 2009. Sunday was fine with 3 firsts and 3 seconds for some nice action and today we hit the board 9 our of 10 times with 2 firsts and 5 seconds with 2 thirds to round out the day. On Jan 1 we will as promised add to our 800-305- 8836 line not only the top ten selections from tracks across the country we will provide a full race card at one featured track, generally selected from the top of the roster on the front of the DRF. Of course the 12 month subscribers get this action every day for one low membership fee, with is rising to $89.00, a true bargain but if you like to Play by the Day I am here for you. Well we are fast approaching the end of the year and the options are varied for selections to say the least. After a so so week, we hit hard and the $12 winner in HOLLYWOOD made up for Saturday. Still hitting the numbers daily save Saturday and the recoup with some descent doubling up the wager makes it still a plus week. I know a lot of time here at Selection Central has been put into the full card offerings that begin in '09 and the payoff will be an every expanding race base for handicappers North to South. We will be dark some days this Holiday period so enjoy you families and have a great Holiday Season and will continue to fill in the days with selections we hope pay some of you holiday bills.

Well the weeks continue to fly by and the Play by the Day line at 1-800-305-8836 seems to be what a number of you wanted and of course have asked for more coverage at certain tracks. The nice winners this week ranging from $11.00 to $28.20 gave us a cash plus, and a return on all bets of over 13%, no doubt beating your IRA, as it did mine. The day after Pearl Harbor Day and I feel like the bombs were aimed at my horse selections this week, yes we Hit the Board over 55% and some subscribers let me know the place parlays are good 12/4 we hit 5 out of 10 but I always want more for myself as well as you. It doesn't take a quick study to know we offer what is found in the DRF so we are at their mercy to show some tracks we would just as soon skip but the serious handicapper trys their hand at the difficult for there the reward can be greater. Like my mother always said " if you can't say something nice...." well you get the idea. Seeing workouts posted at Tampa Downs makes me excited for owners and trainer will soon be filling out the entries with good horses from all over and this is good for all involved. Well the month is over and the last week continued to be a roller coaster, I avoided two days due to the holiday and always pass on Mondays and still had my moments. If you were on board for Wednesday you know we were at 50% winners and 90% hit the board that took us to a thankful Thanksgiving and wish the week was a bit shorter but now and then you have a bump in the road. All in all we continue to hit the board nearly 60% of the time and edge at 30% at the win window. I know from my wallet that staying the course is still proving to cash more than I spend so moving forward is still the plan. I flipped between the football games and TVG most of Sunday and wonder how coaches with records that would be unacceptable in the racing industry can do such a lousy job, get canned and move on to another 7 figure salary, go figure ! I know when the weeks review is done each Monday morning we see better action and more winners in a hand full of tracks, from the Big A to Calder where nearly 50% rule as to the remainder of the looks in the ten tracks looked at this week. But we're not picking football as some of my peers try to do along with horses, I am horses only and in the long run through out the year we will prevail and march to the beat of the Call to Post as we cash them from coast to coast, week in and week out.
