No sooner do I pick Eddie and the rest is history, leaving the Doctors office today, sick by the pull out of my choice but really visiting Dr M to get this cold on track and off my back. No surprise to those who call in as I sounded like a cheap hood yesterday reading off my picks. Anyway , as I was leaving the receptionist put me on the dime noticing my New York OTB shirt and said " give me a winner for Saturday, we going to a Derby party. Now if you have ever been to the Derby you know no one can host a party to compare to the real thing but these millions of groups all over the world are what will keep horse racing alive so of course I oblige two fold. For the Oaks I give her, Justwhistledixie and encourage her on with a lean towards Pioneerof the Nile, because everyone knows to paraphrase Mr Baffert RIDE A HORSE NOT A COWBOY.

What a day, we move foreword to the "Big Tree" at Belmont and of course what are we hitting. Soft at times but still 127-29-71 and 43-19-28 keep paying for parking but not going to cover the bar tab this year at Siros yet the rolling bets keep the payoffs good enough to play another day. I like my old system and think that this months newsletter will spend a little time on it so you can perhaps try to push the chalk and get some cash for the ride home.
Many of my sunshine buddies are headed back north and should be in line at the simulcst for the Derby but there will be several hundred crammed in with me for what should be an interesting race. To take a shot here would be rash with some things that still need to play out but I can't get past Square Eddie and like the name of two of my followers he should be the contender. Love the jock and remember back in 2004 when he took Birdstone out our the darkness at Saratoga to the wire I believe the combination is a sure winner. Well there you have it one free pick that will be on the line and email Friday night as the day opens at Churchill Downs for the run for the roses.

Well you know that everyday is a learning experience and this format was designed to get and give some input and run with it accordingly however the questions arrive daily at the email and I'm not complaining since I know your out there when you prob those questions every week. I will therefore use this space to highlight the running stats that so many of you want. I thought that running the selections hits and misses with a nod to the highs such as the $ 248 tri on Sat 4/18 was enough to get you calling but if you need more your gone to get it. I will list the same format that you see so often under other handicappers selections.
NUMBER OF RACES PICKED*NUMBER OF TOP PICKED WINNERS*NUMBER OF PICKED FINISHES IN THE MONEY
Compare if you wish I know my stats are for real and not the pie in the sky multi thousand winners claimed by others.
By the way last week, Wed to Sun with weather that should have had its own show on the Weather Channel I had 106/ 29/ 68 STAY TUNED

Winners coast to coast and South to North is what you would expect from The Track Maitre D and you got it, we slammed them with 6 for 9 at the big A in one afternoon and hit 5 for 10 on the top selections as well. We need to mention the weather, it can and has been a factor and you should always know that what you receive or hear from The Track Maitre D is based on what I believe is the best horse in the race on paper from my experience and our tracking and in house handicapping programs , however old mother nature can mix it up and has this last week so go to the window accordingly. I know "sour faced Joe" a follower has taken the selections and run the picks into exacta wheels and done very nicely, he hit two at Gulfstream yesterday each paying over $100 with Algeiba in the first and Voodoo Momma in the eighth that may even put a smile on his face. Some callers are not realizing that if they dial in several times a month it pays to get the 12 month package, either way its a deal and what ever works for you just do it, winning with me day in and day out, action and winner's all year long.

You can feel the pace speed up with the return to Keeneland and the step out at the big A and I will be there to provide quality Picks and of course the full card at Aqueduct as spring truely arrives across the country. Great fun watching the races this last week, Wed, Thurs, Friday and Sunday holding more than our own with winners and exacta's but still glowing from the 6 for 9 on Sat that sends me into this week strong and anxious. Missed a few at Gulfstream as the weather was certainly a factor and if you don't take the other variables into play after getting my selections then your flying blind and not doing yourself a favor with the good information you are receiving from The Track Maitre D. I look to do a good run again Wed to Sunday and know the picks are always available the evening prior to race day or on your email if you are a subscriber. Good Luck and keep cashing those winners.

What can I say, running the numbers from Wednesday to Sunday, things were good. Huge when we hit five winners and four exactas to start and followed the next day with 50% on the selections and rocked with five winners again on Friday with several exacta's and one for $251.00. Saturday was smooth with four out of nine and six winners at Aqueduct. Sunday I should have stayed home but we have days like that and you just pick yourself up and move on to the next race. We are passing on Turfway for a bit due to the conflicts in simulcasting so more of Phila, Gulf and Tampa which is high on many handicappers charts. Stay tuned and run the exactas with the picks for double action and high returns. Good Luck out there!

Lost a week, but not many bets as "numbers" and I had some quality time putting the selections to work in Q's that more than covered our eats for the week. "Where you been, Tommy" was the ongoing call as I revisited some old friends and moved about several tracks in the sunshine state to get the feel so many have as we move towards spring and new venues to revisit. I also flirted again with ownership with a call from the boys at Karakorum but have to remain true to the job at hand and its requirements to bring in winners for my subscribers. As to subscribers welcome to the folks that visit the OTB's in Western New York, I'm sure the featured card, this month Aqueduct, will be an asset to them and I look foreword to a long term relationship with this organization and its patrons. The Week-end was strong and I sense the trend will continue. We are coming into the most exciting time of year with the run and it will continue with my personal highlight Saratoga. I hope you have found time to explore the web site, get the newsletter and sign up for the 12 month email selections on line or play by the day when you out to cash some winners. GOOD LUCK everyone and stay tuned.
