A very good week, we had 55% hit the board and over the five days, 28 winners and 17 cold. The days were pumped up by great exactas and tri's at Suffolk of $144.40 COLD, $95.60 COLD and at Calder of $185.60 COLD. I could go on and on but you need only to call one time and you'll get the true taste of the Selections offered by The Track Maitre D.
We also promised a free one and before the end of the week this will be slipped in for you that follow the blog, I feel a Friday Freebie coming on, Hint Hint.
As always I am offering it daily, Wednesday through Sunday, Top Ten Races, with 30 selections on line or on the phone. DON'T MISS THE ACTION FROM The Track Maitre D.

Monday, October 5, 2009

I told you in the newsletter that the good or bad results we will recap from the previous week, here in the weekly Blog and it's not presently being done by ANYONE else offering a handicapping site.
Last week, Wednesday through Sunday we had 46% hit the board with 24 winners and 16 of them were cold! I could fill the page with the pick three's, exacta box's and other combo's that came of the picks but you only need to hear the basics to get involved with The Track Maitre D's Selections all year long or the day you call to play.
I will also give out the free pick sometime during the week in this Blog so tune back in before the week-end and get one on me.
Short and sweet but as Dective Friday use to say "Just the Facts"

Friday, September 25, 2009

Yes you ask and I answer. The selections has grown to the top three picks in the top ten races from tracks across the country every Wednesday to Sunday all year long. The emails asked for the expanded effort to get the edge on the pick 3's and pick 4's and so forth and The Track Maitre D has provided the same. Is it working? the first day we had THREE winners at Belmont Park with the last one paying $16, a pick three at Delaware Park to join two Exacta box's and a Trifecta at SuffolkDowns. So Yes Its Working. Day two the good news continues with Winners at Belmont Park, Monmouth Park and Calder Race Course not to mention a $60 winner at Laurel Park. What are you waiting for.....get on line or on the phone and join your fellow handicappers that are cashing day in and day out with The Track Maitre D!

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

What a weekend with the weather and such, you had to have a crystal ball or The Track Maitre D to survive and survive I did, the total weekly picks were reduced to 43 with Monmouth closed on the very rainy day but we rallied with a closing Sunday with SIX winners and hit the board over 70% and that included winners at over 28% so a very pleasing effort. New subscribers continue to come on board and the phones keep a ringing so the stimulus package The Track Maitre D provides seems to be fitting the bill. Enjoy the season, with a touch of football to be sure, but remember the new tracks are calling for you, so get the winners as always on line or on the phone every Wednesday through Sunday all year long with The Track Maitre D!

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Back at the ranch and still had cash from Saratoga, to Punch in the last weekend and it was a good one. Road Linda Rice all meet and that fueled many of the successful days, she deserved the title.
also back to reality as we have to focus on some tracks that our horses shipped into and local information from them to match our stats and figures to provide the Selections. Must be working as the first day looking at new horizons we had a winner, three seconds, two thirds and two scratches leaving the percentage for the Top Ten Selections at 0ver 77% hitting the board and fire in the furnace to tackle what lies ahead. Speaking of tackles, nice play at Belmont with the football and horse racing combo should provide some entertainment for many in the Elmont House but remember I ONLY DO HORSES and with that you get it every week Wednesday through Sunday ALL YEAR LONG. Get on board with The Track Maitre D on line or on the phone either way you'll be a winner!

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

WE ARE ON A ROLL, yes Sunday 8 races we cashed tickets and four were from the Daily Selections, Monday we cashed in every race but one and five were from the Daily Selections. I won't say we have Saratoga wired cause that would be as miss leading as Rachel's move away from the Travers. Oh well I have had a chance to host one with Mine That Birds trainer and you don't have to be reminded he wants this one bad. Oh by the way with the four from Sunday was a Monmouth winner, yes its never just one track or only on weekends, The Track Maitre D offers year round action every Wednesday to Sunday from tracks across the USA.

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

Time is flying by and getting to the track at Saratoga six days a week has been a rush. Almost an overload on information but that was bound to happen. We find the long shots mixed in with so many difficult entries from around the county make this a very difficult job but the pick threes that hit from the selections and the refined art of maidens we are handicapping make this visit a pleasure. I have lost track of many of the tracks we feature since I am old school and use the paper copy of the DRF and that leaves me with Saratoga, Monmouth, Arlington and Del Mar so those provide the meat for Selections and it has worked to date. I hope your spreading the picks into some value and thank you for the supporting emails and continued growth in our subscribers. Stay on board and watch for some exciting news in the Newsletter next month and as always I'm on line and on the phone every Wednesday through Sunday, all year long.

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

Yes we are here at the SPA, and even though we arrived late Sunday night, couldn't wait till Wednesday as planned and raced in for the action on Monday. Sunny and warm and left with more than I arrived with in the wallet so things are off to a good start, the stats for the week will be posted next Tuesday and of course an update is on the phone prior to getting signed on for your selections with the play by the day. The DRF says the handle up a bit so everything is on track for a great meet and you'll enjoy it more than ever if your with The Track Maitre D for Wednesday thru Sunday selections handicapped live this month at Saratoga and of course all year long where ever you are looking at the action.

Monday, July 27, 2009

Here we go and tomorrow the first card of the Saratoga meet is on the table for handicapping Wednesdays races at The Spa for another year of excitement and to be sure lots of winners. As we noted in the newsletter we will feature stats each week in this Blog and coming off 82% hitting the board we followed up with 70% so the run is on and even with the competition at its highest we feel confident we will continue the surge into Saratoga. I have to skip Sundays card, sadly but that is a travel day to get us to our August home and the temptation is great for a side stop at Monmouth to see that big girl run but we will breeze by and catch the rerun on TV at Siro's perhaps. I don't know if this horse makes it but it's worth mentioning, Devonshire in the 7th, just as my pulse is racing the emails and calls from my connections are lighting up with input about who they see surprising the pundits and want me to have that inside track. Of course you know if you've laid your money on the line by phone or email their are many components that go into what I give back in Selections but just the same check out the first connection selection with me. Come on for your winners, every week all year long with The Track Maitre D.

Thursday, July 16, 2009

The clock is ticking and its just over two weeks before I get to Saratoga for four weeks of racing, I cannot wait. Had a pretty good last week and this one is starting off good as well so I may make a bit of nice picks up at the Spa hope you on board for some of them. Taking the whole staff as usual we all seem to work as if we were back here at the ranch and still get to the paddock early every day we're there. I do take off Monday and of course Tuesday is dark but twenty days will fly by way too fast. I saw a great special on HGTV today on Evening Attire and he is boarded In New York, that would be a great side trip. Stay tuned and call in you missing out on CASH in your pocket and of course thanks for the nice comments from S. E. in D. C. we do give you a taste of the action to be sure, just to wet you interest and they are the real Selections, what else would you expect from The Track Maitre D. I'm here for you every week all year long!

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

Yes I have been lazy with not keeping you informed and yet I'm always trying to get the percentage up and slowly its working, of course if your on line or on the phone line you know that. The racing is unreal, combine the great ladies and the weather that won't quit I have been tearing out my hair and you know that's dangerous. If I read my words at time I feel I'm not making sense then I hear the din from the announcers covering the races and get a quote that says " these horses were bred to win" really do you think some are bred to lose? Oh well we all have days and yet the payouts keep us on track to play again and like the support of my emails you know we are getting bad luck like Sunday with two scratches and two injuries and two off the turf you just put it aside and focus forward. Like put on the blinkers, stay the course and ride it out with The Track Maitre D and you will end up a winner!

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

It's raining out there as if you didn't notice and that makes it hard on me as well as anyone who hates the scratches and small fields with one MTO horse after another breaking my back. Oh well when in Rome, you know...shift to the impulse and if it seems weak then settle for a smaller pay day and move on, the weather has to improve and we can win it out. I am not happy about the shift from Breeders "win and you in " from my beloved Saratoga but the loss is for the TV public for I will be there and the quality will be there and the lucky picks from The Track Maitre D will certainly be there. Oh about the weather two things, rain rain go away for August and until then take yesterdays Selections two scratches, two winners, five places and seven show tickets, yes Little D is right and cash those seven babies she did, not the only one who plays them all am I.

Saturday, June 13, 2009

June and things are happening.........we continue to see success at the right percentage with the Top Ten Selections, yes the scratches are high but the weather is bad and good horses like good handicappers step back to go another day. Still the winners come in every day and we are on the board more than our fair share. BUT the big news this week is our link to betting in the UK and in fact around the world is on our home page. Yes the link exchange between The Track Maitre D and betters across the pond is live and not only can you grab onto what is offered over there we now have a toll free line in the UK for handicappers in the UNITED KINGDOM to get on board with what The Track Maitre D is offering state side. You knew when TVG made the move that international interest would rise on a constant basis and the Track Maitre D is riding with the flow. So keep calling for play by the day Wednesday through Sunday or on line for 12 months continuous service, be you from Louisville or London, ALL YEAR LONG.

Thursday, May 28, 2009

Well it's back to what I do best and the Top Ten Selections rule! We found the top three in each race at one track was redundant to the player since this feature has been a fixture in the DRF for as long as ever and I needed to present a clearer picture of what I do and this way the percentages are yours to judge. Yesterday back to those basics grabbed three winners, $8.60, $9.80 and $4.20 plus three others on the board showing a nice return on the Top Ten.
Some big news to come out with next months newsletter, hope you getting it, most find it a in your face update of some thoughts on handicapping with a sense of direction where The Track Maitre D is headed in this industry and why you should be on board be it on line for the 12 months offer or playing by the day. No pie in the sky as we stated before just basic winning selections more often than anyone and ALL YEAR LONG.

Monday, May 18, 2009

Where does the time go, can't believe the Preakness is gone, yes had the winner and the exacta but still hovering lower than normal on stats, more in the 40% range but still cashing tickets and making money. Thanks for the input about the full card we are agreeing with the responders and returning to the Top Ten format North to South and Coast to Coast at the end of this month. You will still see many selections from the New York tracks but not the top three in each race. I ran with some exactas and got good coverage with the card but prefer to crack the top ten for real results. Interestingly enough one of yesterdays picks was nosed out for a $20 winner that was my second choice. Just last week the Sunday phone gang also hit a large one that seemed to make the day by what you emailed me. Stay with it, the excitement builds and this sport is alive and growing look at the TV audience on Sat or the excitement about the return of Hialeah we need say no more. With The Track Maitre D your always at the post for winners week after week all year long!

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Well they say do what you do well and the rest is history. Pushed to spend more time on reporting stats than I wanted to has indeed produced an interesting scenario as follows.......When you look at the Top Ten Selections vs the full card the numbers knock you over. Yes my numbers rival others for the top three in each race at any track but that's not what got me going down this road and hoping for some feedback and if received I may go back to day one and offer only my Top Ten Selections. Those stats for last week had me in at over 30% winners and over 60% hitting the board, I made money your had too! Wed I was in with 6 winners and 3 other on the board out of 10 picks, and looks like the trend continues as yesterday I again had 6 winners and 3 others on the board out of 9..........stay tuned.

Thursday, April 30, 2009

No sooner do I pick Eddie and the rest is history, leaving the Doctors office today, sick by the pull out of my choice but really visiting Dr M to get this cold on track and off my back. No surprise to those who call in as I sounded like a cheap hood yesterday reading off my picks. Anyway , as I was leaving the receptionist put me on the dime noticing my New York OTB shirt and said " give me a winner for Saturday, we going to a Derby party. Now if you have ever been to the Derby you know no one can host a party to compare to the real thing but these millions of groups all over the world are what will keep horse racing alive so of course I oblige two fold. For the Oaks I give her, Justwhistledixie and encourage her on with a lean towards Pioneerof the Nile, because everyone knows to paraphrase Mr Baffert RIDE A HORSE NOT A COWBOY.

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

What a day, we move foreword to the "Big Tree" at Belmont and of course what are we hitting. Soft at times but still 127-29-71 and 43-19-28 keep paying for parking but not going to cover the bar tab this year at Siros yet the rolling bets keep the payoffs good enough to play another day. I like my old system and think that this months newsletter will spend a little time on it so you can perhaps try to push the chalk and get some cash for the ride home.
Many of my sunshine buddies are headed back north and should be in line at the simulcst for the Derby but there will be several hundred crammed in with me for what should be an interesting race. To take a shot here would be rash with some things that still need to play out but I can't get past Square Eddie and like the name of two of my followers he should be the contender. Love the jock and remember back in 2004 when he took Birdstone out our the darkness at Saratoga to the wire I believe the combination is a sure winner. Well there you have it one free pick that will be on the line and email Friday night as the day opens at Churchill Downs for the run for the roses.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Well you know that everyday is a learning experience and this format was designed to get and give some input and run with it accordingly however the questions arrive daily at the email and I'm not complaining since I know your out there when you prob those questions every week. I will therefore use this space to highlight the running stats that so many of you want. I thought that running the selections hits and misses with a nod to the highs such as the $ 248 tri on Sat 4/18 was enough to get you calling but if you need more your gone to get it. I will list the same format that you see so often under other handicappers selections.
NUMBER OF RACES PICKED*NUMBER OF TOP PICKED WINNERS*NUMBER OF PICKED FINISHES IN THE MONEY
Compare if you wish I know my stats are for real and not the pie in the sky multi thousand winners claimed by others.
By the way last week, Wed to Sun with weather that should have had its own show on the Weather Channel I had 106/ 29/ 68 STAY TUNED

Thursday, April 9, 2009

Winners coast to coast and South to North is what you would expect from The Track Maitre D and you got it, we slammed them with 6 for 9 at the big A in one afternoon and hit 5 for 10 on the top selections as well. We need to mention the weather, it can and has been a factor and you should always know that what you receive or hear from The Track Maitre D is based on what I believe is the best horse in the race on paper from my experience and our tracking and in house handicapping programs , however old mother nature can mix it up and has this last week so go to the window accordingly. I know "sour faced Joe" a follower has taken the selections and run the picks into exacta wheels and done very nicely, he hit two at Gulfstream yesterday each paying over $100 with Algeiba in the first and Voodoo Momma in the eighth that may even put a smile on his face. Some callers are not realizing that if they dial in several times a month it pays to get the 12 month package, either way its a deal and what ever works for you just do it, winning with me day in and day out, action and winner's all year long.

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

You can feel the pace speed up with the return to Keeneland and the step out at the big A and I will be there to provide quality Picks and of course the full card at Aqueduct as spring truely arrives across the country. Great fun watching the races this last week, Wed, Thurs, Friday and Sunday holding more than our own with winners and exacta's but still glowing from the 6 for 9 on Sat that sends me into this week strong and anxious. Missed a few at Gulfstream as the weather was certainly a factor and if you don't take the other variables into play after getting my selections then your flying blind and not doing yourself a favor with the good information you are receiving from The Track Maitre D. I look to do a good run again Wed to Sunday and know the picks are always available the evening prior to race day or on your email if you are a subscriber. Good Luck and keep cashing those winners.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

What can I say, running the numbers from Wednesday to Sunday, things were good. Huge when we hit five winners and four exactas to start and followed the next day with 50% on the selections and rocked with five winners again on Friday with several exacta's and one for $251.00. Saturday was smooth with four out of nine and six winners at Aqueduct. Sunday I should have stayed home but we have days like that and you just pick yourself up and move on to the next race. We are passing on Turfway for a bit due to the conflicts in simulcasting so more of Phila, Gulf and Tampa which is high on many handicappers charts. Stay tuned and run the exactas with the picks for double action and high returns. Good Luck out there!

Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Lost a week, but not many bets as "numbers" and I had some quality time putting the selections to work in Q's that more than covered our eats for the week. "Where you been, Tommy" was the ongoing call as I revisited some old friends and moved about several tracks in the sunshine state to get the feel so many have as we move towards spring and new venues to revisit. I also flirted again with ownership with a call from the boys at Karakorum but have to remain true to the job at hand and its requirements to bring in winners for my subscribers. As to subscribers welcome to the folks that visit the OTB's in Western New York, I'm sure the featured card, this month Aqueduct, will be an asset to them and I look foreword to a long term relationship with this organization and its patrons. The Week-end was strong and I sense the trend will continue. We are coming into the most exciting time of year with the run and it will continue with my personal highlight Saratoga. I hope you have found time to explore the web site, get the newsletter and sign up for the 12 month email selections on line or play by the day when you out to cash some winners. GOOD LUCK everyone and stay tuned.

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

March came in like a Lion to be sure and when I see tracks shut down for the day I feel for the handicapper who only had one track he or she was geared for and the day was lost. If however, your on my picks chances are very good you had action at more than one location. We swing to the new format with Aqueduct being our featured full track starting Wed 3/4 and the Top Ten boast picks not only at the Big A but at Gulfstream, Turfway Park and Santa Anita, a key component of going with The Track Maitre D. Hats off to "Sweet Tooth Tony" as he always has something sweet for me to eat and I always have something for him as well. He was all over the selections this weekend, likes to bet large on show as well as pick 3's. The stats for horse's hitting the board of 5 for 10 on Friday and 6 for 9 on Saturday and 8 for 9 on Sunday will surely fill his goody bag for next week. Get on board today by phone or with your emails there's money to be made all year and as always coast to coast.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Impute is very important to anyone who is listening and I am......Thanks to Richard on the West Coast for reminding me that you need to know the stats and everyone uses what is given to them to fine tune their own systems and enhance their own betting likes and avoid the dislikes. We don't always toot our own horn but facts are facts and need to be shared on occasion.
Just ran the numbers for last week-end and here they are:Friday, full card, 23 ran with 9 hits with 3 winners. Selections, 10 ran with 7 hits and 5 winners. Saturday, full card 29 ran with 15 hits with 2 winners. Selections, 8 ran with 5 hits and 4 winners. Sunday, full card 27 ran with 13 hits and 2 winners. Selections, 9 ran with 6 hits and 1 winner. Over 45% hit the board on the full cards and nearly 40% winners on the Selections. No spin just the numbers. Come on and join us.

Thursday, February 19, 2009

The weeks fly by and we learn new things with each passing. No not only do we fine tune the Santa Anita portion of our selections which has been enhanced by a solid follower of that track, Frank but also by the recent visit of "Boomer" who took the task of joining the west coast group and seeing first hand how our selections fared and gleamed what he could to strengthen our connections in California. Also revamped the full card feature to list not only the top three selections in each race, but by name and number, seems this insures callers and subscribers more accurate picks as the numbers can and do change. More work, NO Way, just more information to nail the winner and grab a few exacta's etc for you to enjoy. Stay tuned for more facts and success at this year round handicapping site.

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Why can I have two Saturdays in every week, they have been very strong. On 2/7 we had four winners at Gulfstream, our featured card, for $5.60 in first, $7.20 in the fifth, $16.00 in the ninth and $19.80 in the tenth. This was on the same selections email or phone line that drove home four out of five at Aqueduct, the first for $16.40, the third for $3.20, the fourth for $5.00, and the fifth for $5.50 AGAIN ALL ON ONE DAY. If your waiting for more get on line or on the line so you can share in this success. I never question the pay outs for a winner is a winner.

No sooner do I send out the February newsletter "The Stretch Call" to my subscribers one topic comes face to face with success, Maidens. Yes and the news is good. I wrote that I had to wait till we had a system, stats and some race handicapping to add these races to the fold and that was key to offering the full featured card on the email to members and on the 800-305-8836 line for the pay by the day players. On Wednesday at Gulfstream, the featured track we hit three maiden races the third for $5.20, the fifth for $6.00 and the sixth for $6.80. This brings the whole package of Top Ten Selections and Full Featured Card to an all around winning combination. As usual, this action is year round as promised. Call or sign up soon.

Well the month is fast ending and the action is good. I am disappointed when a part of the Selections are snowed out such as yesterday in New York but we have those things to deal with this time of year and many of you like to stay on top of the Big A, be you in the sunshine state or not and it will be continued to be handicapped as often as we can. The featured track remain on the top of the front page of the DRF so you will know when you call where we both are selecting. Stats are good but they are only as good as you make use of them. I always enjoy taking my own selections and watching the morning line, quite often as high as 7 or 10 to 1 and drop as the actions unfolds making many picks go off as favorites or second best as the handicappers lean my way, for those of you who are on line or called in on the 800 305 8836 line, you had the selection way before others and should be toasting the finish with your own expanded action or riding it out with me to the wire. Again we do this every week, year round and focus on Horses and Horses only. Good Luck!

Well, its been a week to say the least, we were off the air so to speak for three days updating and such and now back in action with more winners to come than ever before. Always improving and that keeps this web site fresh and current. Closed last week with a run on Monday the holiday meet for the Big A and we were ready. Six hit the board out of the nine races, with three winners and add to that the Picks in our selections hoisted a total of three out of the five selected so we ended with a very very good day. Now remember that when we see action you can count on regardless of the day of the week we will provide some action. The daily play phone gives you the date of handicapping so call up when your ready and as always sign up for 12 months and you will never miss a thing.

Time seems to move fast, with the Florida options added to Big A and California but thanks to supporters keeping me on track. Had a glitch with the 800 line on Friday, but thanks to Dave from California in letting us know and had a chance to give him Saturdays Selections early that morning and it paid off big.....had 5 winners out of 10 at Gulfstream and even though Sunday was softer with only 2 on that card as well as 1 on the west cos,I hope Dave stuck with me as the first one was Unlimitedcash that returned $56.60 to win and made the day for many of us. You know you always get results and personal input from me and continue to find good action year round coast to coast.

Well it's the New Year and the new package available for handicappers is now up and running and the reception has been good. We find that the percentages are as good for the full card as the top ten and although there is a small overlap generally 2 or 3 races ,the player, be they day or 12 month subscribers receive the expanded action that covers so many races it is to steal a line from a great horse owner/businessman.........HUGE. We redid our ad in the Daily Racing Form so that everyone was clear on our new format and know that the results at the window will be payoffs for all. Join us for a great '09 at tracks across the country for here at my web site the action never stops. We be back next week to review the '09 stats but many of you will already be in the know!
